Can I start CA after graduation?

Direct entry requirements are for students who have done graduation or post graduation with a minimum of 55% marks or students with graduation or post graduation from other streams other than commerce with a minimum of 60% marks who can directly apply to CA Intermediate examinations.

The entire process of becoming a CA may take up to 5 years. Students who pass their ICSE or CBSE after 10+2 must take the CA Foundation and will have to study for 4 months.

The next CA Intermediate stage involves another 8 months, and on clearing both groups, students will go for articleship, which again will take 2 years. After completing the articleship, along with the completion of 6 months of ICITSS practical training, students may appear for the CA Final examination, and on clearing both groups, welcome to the CA profession.

The CA examination is a tough nut to crack, but passing it on the first attempt is no impossibility. It only requires a persistent mindset and firm grit. Choosing the right strategy becomes the keyword for the task. Become absolutely aware of the exam pattern and create a sustainable timetable for the exam preparation. Go through the relevant theory regularly, do enough mock tests, write down hand-written notes, and avoid skipping any topics for the preparation of higher levels.
